http://justagypsygirl.blogspot.com has a bunch of new posts, including some bad poetry, weather complaints and a piece about my beloved dog, Holly, who died yesterday.
So...if you still haven't figured out the subscription thing, here's your boost. ;)
Subscriptions are now available for the new page! If you are someone that only reads this because they get xanga subscription updates or you get an email in your email box, no worries, I have set up link feeds on the sidebar of my new page. For your convenience, because I care!! Now you can have a live feed OR you can even subscribe to get an email when a new post comes along. This will hopefully ease the transition to the new page, for those few of you that actually read this (Quinton, I'm actually personally addressing you right there). SO go to http://justagypsygirl.blogspot.com and click on the symbol that looks like this: and the rest will be you simply following instructions! Enjoy!
I will continue to cross post on here for awhile, if I feel like it, possibly.
It'll be easier if you just come check out the new place (which looks uncannily...well not that uncannily...like this one). It was just a matter of time, really. I was getting sick of the stalker trackbacks, lack of variety in terms of page elements, and frustrating lack of freedom when it came to friends without xanga commenting.
Xanga...it's been fun. I will miss the 'Currently Listening' feature greatly. But that just wasn't enough to sustain this relationship. Blogspot has lured me with it's ease of entrance, interesting Page Elements and correlation with my gmail.
I am composing this short update on a brand new HP laptop. After spending more hours of my life on the phone than I would care to admit, and being meaner and more 'firm' than I would care to admit, HP did what they said was ABSOLUTELY not possible, and provided me with the in-store credit in time to get a new laptop before I leftfor Alberta. Thanks to the fact that the angelic computer salesperson yesterday sweet talked the tech guy into staying late to finish my set up, I walked out of FutureShop at 8:23 last night with a new, FUNCTIONAL, laptop. Funny how they said they wouldn't be able to make that happen, eh? It's definitely an answer to prayer and a big 'Praise be to God' goes out because of the positive ending to such a frustrating situation.
As much as I would like to post about the concert I went to on Monday (Amos Lee live = really quite stellar), my series of unfortunate events in the last week, Canada Day fireworks or much of anything else, I am working on less sleep than I will ever own up to, and I am still not actually packed. Sort of packed, yes. So I am going to get a start on my day, and my next post that you read will be from the other side of the Rockies.
When I figure out who I am and what I'm like, I'll get back to you... until then... maybe you can read this and try to figure it out and get back to me...
